Datapolis Workbox Concept/Architecture
Datapolis Workbox is an application based on the SharePoint solution. Currently, it is only possible to install and use Datapolis Workbox on the SharePoint platform. Workbox integrates brilliantly with SharePoint solutions. We will give you some examples that show the connection of our application with a SharePoint site. When you have a list created then in the ribbon at the top of the page you have the Datapolis Workbox icon visible.
When you click on it, you will be redirected to the Datapolis Portal page, where you can manage your workflows, for example, add new workflows, delete or open a workflow in the designer.
Another example of how Datapolis Workbox is connected to the SharePoint platform are the other icons visible in the ribbon, namely the Action and History icons. In order for them to be displayed, the user has to select an item in the list and click on it with the left mouse button.
Next example of Workbox's great interaction with SharePoint is implemented in the list in the form of the Datapolis column. Each list item shows a special icon symbolizing our product and company.
When you click on the Datapolis icon on the right, you will see a panel with available actions for the item.
In the Datapolis column you can also see three dots when you click on them, the available actions will also be displayed.
If you have Datapolis Workbox installed and enabled on your SharePoint site you will be able to take full advantage of our solution.
On the list page on the side panel you will see the Site contents option.
When you select it, you will see the contents of the site in question. Among them, the Apps for SharePoint item.
After selecting (clicking) on Apps for SharePoint, you will see information about Datapolis Workbox application added to the site. Here you can find more information about the installation.
To use Datapolis Workbox, a user must have certain permissions on the SharePoint site. Here you will find more information about permissions on the SharePoint.
