To enter Datapolis Workbox portal, please click on the link below Datapolis Workbox.
Step 1
You are entering the portal of advanced Business Process Management solutions.
Datapolis Workbox is a tool that enables you to create sophisticated business processes in SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) environment.
In order to get started you need a Trial license that will allow you to test Datapolis Workbox on your Company's Microsoft 365 environment.
We are going to provide your unique license at no cost.
Please submit the completed registration form.
Your Trial license should soon be ready and will be valid for 3 months.

It should take few hours. We'll contact you when it's ready.
Then we`ll guide you step by step in the installation process.
Please be aware, that due to your Company security measures, in order to install the trial license you need Administrator privileges in your Sharepoint environment.
Please contact your Administrator if your permissions are lower.
Step 3
Add Datapolis Workbox App to your SharePoint
In order to install, activate and configure DATAPOLIS WORKBOX App, you will need administrative rights to your SharePoint and Azure Active Directory.
If you do not have that permissions, please contact your Administrator and ask him to log in to portal.datapolis.com and install this App.
To install DATAPOLIS WORKBOX App you need to have Sharepoint admin permissions.
- Download DATAPOLIS WORKBOX App
- Sign in to the Sharepoint Admin Center.
- Select “More Features” on the left side panel.
- Click “Open” button under Apps card
- This will open App Catalog site, click "Upload" and select the file you have just downloaded.
- On the right side of the screen you can see a pop-up asking you to choose where our app will be available. If you want to manually add it to each site select “Only enable this app” otherwise select “Enable this app and add it to all sites”, afterwards click “Enable App” at the bottom of the panel.
If you select the first option "Only enable this app," you will need to add the app through the "My Apps" page. Here you will find more information on how to do this.
- Once the file is uploaded you can proceed to the next step: Defining users and setting up appropriate permissions.
Define users and set up permissions

Workflow Administrator is dedicated user which can manage Datapolis Workbox licenses, refresh System connectors and manages all administrative functionalities. We recommend that the Workflow Administrator be a person who also has SharePoint administrator privileges. | Workflow Designer is a user who has access to Datapolis Workbox Designer. He is able to create workflows and deploy them in Sharepoint environment. | Workflow User is a user who may participate in processes |
- Sign in to the Azure portal.
- In Enterprise applications section You should see a list of all applications, select Datapolis Workbox
- Under Manage, select Users and groups
- Select Add user/group, this will open the Add Assignment pane.
Select the Users and groups selector from the Add Assignment pane. A list of users and security groups will be displayed. (IMPORTANT: First You should choose a person who will be an administrator for our product. This is strongly recommended that that person is also a Sharepoint admin.)
Once you’ve selected users and groups, click the Select button to proceed.
Click Select a role in the Add assignment pane and pick role, confirm the choice by pressing Select button.
Select the Assign button to finish the assignment of that user.
To let other people use DATAPOLIS WORKBOX you also must add them to specified roles:
- Workflow User is a basic user which can start workflows and launch workflow actions.
- Workflow Designer is a user who has access to workflow designer in which they’re able to create workflows.
- Workflow Admin is an administrative role which allows them to access administrative functions such as refreshing system accounts.
Create System Connectors
You need to have Sharepoint admin permissions to create System Connectors. You must also be in the role of Workflow Administrator to be able to create System Connectors.
Workflows at work will perform operations on SharePoint lists and use functionality provided by Microsoft through Microsoft Graph. System connectors enable all such operations.
Before refreshing the connectors, it is necessary to re-log in. To do this, click on user icon in the upper right corner of your browser, then click on ‘Sign out’ and log back in.
Please click “Conset” buttons on the left side of the screen and then delegate appropriate permissions to DATAPOLIS WORKBOX App.
NOTE: In some exceptional cases this command may not be fully executed. In that case, please press the "Consent" button again.
Regional Settings
After completing all steps, you need to set the regional settings, which can be found in the administration tab, in the configuration section.
